At Power Yard Zone, we stand behind our commercial-grade outdoor equipment and want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. This policy outlines our professional returns and exchanges process for landscapers, arborists, and serious homeowners.
Returns Eligibility
You may return most unused items in their original packaging within 15 days of delivery for a refund or exchange. For your protection, we recommend using a trackable shipping service.
Non-Returnable Items
Due to safety and hygiene considerations, the following products cannot be returned:
- Fuels, Oils & Lubricants (opened containers)
- Used cutting accessories (chainsaw chains, blades, etc.)
- Opened chemical products (Mistblowers & sprayers contents)
- Custom or special-order items
Return Process
- Initiate Your Return: Email our customer service team at [email protected] within 15 days of receiving your order. Use the subject line “Return Request: [Your Order Number]”.
- Provide Details: Include the following information in your email:
- Order number
- Item(s) you wish to return
- Reason for return
- Whether you prefer an exchange or refund
- Receive Authorization: Our team will review your request and email you a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and return instructions within 2 business days.
- Ship Your Return: Package the item securely in its original packaging, include the RMA number clearly on the package, and ship to our warehouse address provided in your authorization email.
Return Shipping Costs
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to our error (wrong item shipped or defective product). For exchanges, we’ll cover the shipping costs of the replacement item.
Refund Processing
Once we receive and inspect your return:
- Timing: Refunds are processed within 5 business days of receipt
- Method: Refunds will be issued to your original payment method (credit card, PayPal, etc.)
- Amount: You’ll receive a refund for the purchase price minus any original shipping costs (unless return is due to our error)
Note: It may take additional time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund to your account.
Exchange Process
For exchanges of the same value:
- Follow the standard return process above
- Clearly state in your email that you’re requesting an exchange
- Specify the replacement item you’d like
- We’ll ship your replacement once we receive the original item

Damaged or Defective Items
If you receive a damaged or defective item:
